SAFFIRE - CURRAWONG LAKES – FLY FISHING OR CLAY TARGETS

AUD $1,185.00
  • Duration: 3 Hours
  • Location: Friendly Beaches, TAS

The property boasts exceptional hatches of aquatic and terrestrial insect life. Dry fly fishing is available on most days at a location on one of three lakes, whatever the wind direction or weather conditions. Of particular note are the hatches of Red Spinners which start regularly in late October and continue on until the end of the Tasmanian trout season in late March. While this particular spot is known by keen anglers worldwide, this is a unique opportunity to learn how to fly fish in a fun and safe environment. Alternatively, the clay target shooting is suitable for all levels – from beginner to expert. Hosted by property owners Richard and Meryn Krimmer, this is a chance to experience one of Tasmania’s great wilderness properties, while also experiencing all the fun of skeet shooting in a warm and safe environment.
